I just upgraded from CW R5 to R6 and installed the 3.5 SDK and the
update. I'm having trouble getting my project to run now. It compiles
but crashes Codewarrior and the Emulator every time I run it. I end
up having to reboot my machine after each debugging attempt.

I assume I have a bad setting or some horrifying code (although it
ran pretty well in CW R5). I'm bummed that it's possible to crash
CodeWarrior so hard as well as the Emulator. But more importantly,
what can I do? Is there a faq of common things that cause big
crashes? From using the debugger it looks like I get a little ways
into PilotMain and then into my Init() function. I set about 6
variables to defaults and then somewhere near there it wedges. It's
not always at the same point but it's definitely near the beginning
of my program.

My project is pretty large in case that matters. Also, I can build
brand new, empty 3.5 projects from stationery and they run ok.

As far as I know, the only changes I made to get things going were
changes from the 3.3 SDK to the 3.5 SDK (changed "Pilot.h" to
"PalmOS.h", created a pre-compiled header file, etc).

What do you think? Has anyone else had similar problems with CW R6?
What could I be doing wrong? I'm getting really frustrated. I just
want to be able to do some programming again. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Eric
