I just tried it.  Works for me.

I forgot to mention that you have to perform a soft reset after you do that.
Then when you do the hotsync, it asks you to choose a user.

I just searched where I read this before, and it's on Page 290 in O'Reilly's
Palm Programming: The Developer's Guide.
