:)) point taken - this is something that has never been considered
during the entire PilRC distribution cycle.
i can provide an archive of versions on the website in the future.
(from 2.5b6 onwards) they can be source only (due to size) - would
this cover this problem?

the reason why i wrote this license agreement was because of
that "other tool developer" - and the fact that there was no
existing license agreement stated. the GNU GPL license agreement
is not what Wes or myself want PilRC under - nor do we endorse
any "development" environment. the software is FREE - thats it.
"free" software is a very vague term. PilRC is not open source
(by pure definition) and is not covered under GNU GPL. it never
has been - and never will be.
the !LISENCE.TXT does not change "anything" that already existed
with PilRC. all i did was "put it on paper".
i think i am more involved with the Palm platform than required
for the maintainership role of PilRC :) so i doubt there will be
a problem of me "disappearing" for a long period of time - like
the "other tool" developer. in any event, i would pass on the
maintainership if required. :)
i have taken your point of interest, and i will act accordingly
as i have presented above. and yes, we dont need to mention the
"other tool" developer - we all know who he is..
