I think you're making the assumption that my application needs to wakeup to
a hotsync in order to perform some data manipulation.    The application has
no data at all.   The point to all this is so that my application can
register to the notification manager automatically without the user
executing it.   If I can get my application to wake up during a hotsync
event, it can register itself to the notification manager at that time.

Unfortunately, when you do a soft-reset on the palm, all notification
registrations are lost.  Is there any way for an application to be executed
after a soft-reset is done?   If there is, then I don't need this hotsync
stuff.
