Another method for masking passwords would be a way similar to the way Nokia
phones handle it in their WAP browser. Here's how it works:
When a letter is typed, it is shown briefly (for maybe half a second).
After that time the character is masked. Thus the user can see the letters
of the password briefly while s/he types them, but the password is masked
once typed.
Once again, not the perfect solution, but another way of dealing with the
problem.
