I think POSE installs act differently from HotSync installs with regards to
the timestamps.
I have a PDB file that I built a few days ago, and I installed it in a POSE
emulator session using the "Install Application" menu choice. Both DB
Explorer and Z'Catalog report the creation and modification dates as 28 Dec
2000.
I then deleted the PDB, and reinstalled it using a network Hotsync to my
POSE session. DB Explorer shows some odd time back in November, but
Z'Catalog shows a few minutes ago as for all three datetimes.
Conclusion: HotSync destroys these values, but you may be able to rely on
them for noting when something was installed.
