you can enqueue the keys correspondent to the missing button(s):
EvtEnqueueKey (WChar ascii, UInt16 keycode,UInt16 modifiers)
where:
ascii = 521 (Local HotSync)
ascii = 522 (Modem HotSync)
keycode = 0
modifiers = 8
But you'll have allways to launch hotsync (not only the 'hotsync task')
and in the end the user will have to tap an icon to return to App.

Yes, it is a good idea, but the user have to press one button to call

HotSync app and then another button to perform the HotSync.
Furthermore,
the Hotsync app presents a lot of options that I don't want the users
access
because they could change the configuration.
So, is it possible to call only the Hotsync task and not the whole
environment?
