I c... It brings out another question: What's the best way to prevent your program from being easily broken, or used without autherization?
A simple key scheme? Although the most popular, it never worked well. A key locked to the hostsync name? There is something called "HackMe". :) There is no reliable unique identification on the device. And it seems very simple for people who know assembly and debuggers to just modify a few bytes to bypass all the key checking, expiration checking, etc. Is there a technique really works? I mean, if it takes 1000 hours for a skilled hacker to hack a $20 program, it should be fine. But if it takes only a few hours, the code is not safe. Anyone can recommand some resources on how to safeguard your program from hacking or unauthorized usage? Max __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
