Mostly :)

 The trapping of the menu enter/leave events (and not doing your animation
while the menu is up) works fine for the menu.

 Unfortunately in the current OSes (AFAIK!) there's no way to do similar
for the command bar, since you can't tell when it auto-vanishes!

 The way we've got round that is to wait for a 'time' (a few seconds) before
resuming animation if someone opens the command bar. That's a bit of
a kludge, though.
