Well, yeah, but have you applied all the XP patches? :-) No, seriously, it sounds like you're all up-to-date. I can't understand why the Debug button wouldn't be working for you. The only time I've ever discovered it to not work is when the developer isn't running the external debugger.

Pressing the debug button should always drop you into your debugger, regardless of where the error occurred (even if it's in the ROM). But since you don't describe what debugger or development system you're using, what platform you're running on, or what version of Poser you're using, I couldn't guess as to what's going wrong.
