The fact that it's two-way is not necessarily a problem, depending on how fast it is to access data on the PC end. If your sync is too slow, then use a profiler to find the bottleneck, then fix that problem. You don't need to tell hotsync what sort of sync it is, your conduit just does what it wants. If you are using the install or backup conduits, then they are only one-way all the time.
