I'm having the same issue, also with a T3.
I wrote a simple "metronome" application with prc-tools, relying on 
nilEvent.

it is working perfectly on pre-OS5 Palms (such as m105, m500 or m515), 
but on my T3, it seems like some event are not treated by the event loop.

No idea where it comes from.
