Well, I certainly could be wrong, however, we used to have a virtual driver pre-OS 5, 
and when OS 5 came out, we had to open an incident with DTS, and Kamran Khan in the 
DTS group informed us that due to the architecture change, virtual drivers were no 
longer supported.  I took his word and didn't pursue it any further.  So, if it does 
work, I would be more than happy to hear about it.  =)

Are you sure?  OS 5 runs in emulation so it supports virtual drivers.  I use
them on my Tungsten T.

Not sure if you saw my earlier post but just to be sure, virtual serial
drivers don't exist in OS 5 and higher.
