This could be an XP Home related issue. Perhaps something about the Administrator's rights on the file system or something alike. I had installed PODS about 5 times, 3 times in my original CPU, 'cause I already had Cygwin Installed and using it to other purpouse than PalmOS development, 2 more after upgrades, one from W2K-Pro to XP-Pro and the second from PODS 1.1 to 1.2, and never had a problem.
The second thing that comes to my mind is a low memory related issue, but I think that PODS should run fine, slower 'cause os swaping, but should run fine or should show an "OUT OF MEMORY" error. Just my two cents. Eduardo Orea.
