Frank...are you getting MS updates and if so have you updated to that screaming horror show MS call Service Pack 3 ??? If so then that may possibly have something to do with it ...we've seen a monumental number of system disasters after SP3 is installed and unfortunately haven't seen a foolproof way to "successfully" uninstall it yet.
