We drove from Colorado to Vegas via Route 66 last year. It was simply fantastic.
We passed through places we had never heard of and saw things we never heard of. I can thoroughly recommend it. Some highlights for us, the great sand dune national park, hot air ballooning in Alberquque, looking at Pueblos in New Mexico, the inspiration for Cars in Holbrook Arizona...the list goes on. We visited countless diners, ate too much and generally had a ball. Any questions, please ask.
