Dear List Members,

The first-century CE double document P.Dura 18 from Dura Europos
contains an inner script that is (as usually the case in post 3rd
century BCE double-documents) extremely dense, but (unlike some of its
counterparts from Ptolemaic Egypt) is also quite beautiful. It seems
that the scribe was skilled in producing miniature, thoroughly legible
texts. Does anyone know of more examples of this kind of writing, and
of secondary literature on the subject?

Many thanks, UY
