I think that Goddio already did this. He supplied 10 experts
with the material for an assessment. We don't know exactly what
these experts where saying, only a few snippets were supplied in
the press release. One can gather though that the views differ
quite strongly. Possible forgery wasn't mentioned though. So I
think that Goddio already supplied the relevant material. The
press release says "layer 2 of the stratigraphy (= first half of
the first century)".
Irrespective of the authenticity, it would be interesting to
know what the inscription was supposed to mean.

itself to be fake, the next step is to ask Dr Goddio to confirm
the pot's find place and time of discovery, via its accession
number in his excavation records. I am sure that he would more
than happy to do so. Only then is it worthwhile speculating
what the inscription means.
