Spoke too soon. It works on the Sun Solaris build using the Sun C compiler,
but on Intel Linux w/ gcc, it seg faults. Interestingly, it also expands the
relative pathname to an absolute one.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.cpan/build/PAR-0.75/myldr$ ./par
before SvSETMAGIC ./par
after SvSETMAGIC /home/ian.cass/.cpan/build/PAR-0.75/myldr/par
before SvSETMAGIC /home/ian.cass/.cpan/build/PAR-0.75/myldr/par
after SvSETMAGIC /home/ian.cass/.cpan/build/PAR-0.75/myldr/par
Segmentation fault
On Solaris....
bash-2.01$ ./par
Running XS_Internals_PAR_BOOT
before sv_setpv ./par
after sv_setpv ./par
before SvSETMAGIC ./par
after SvSETMAGIC ./par
Running XS_Internals_PAR_BOOT
Usage: ./par [ -Alib.par ] [ -Idir ] [ -Mmodule ] [ src.par ] [ program.pl ]
./par [ -B|-b ] [-Ooutfile] src.par
