Try to use Wxperl on mac with par

Hello.  Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
Successfully compiled 32 bit perl and wxwidgets on snow leopard - works 
great.

Now I'd like to package.  The problem is mac use wxPerl instead of perl 
to execute wx apps.
PAR ( and the wxpar wrapper ) don't pick up and use wxPerl.  App comes 
up, but  frozen ( just like running the app with the standard perl 
outside the package).

Anyone have any experience with this
OR can I rebuild PAR to use wxPerl instead ?
