OK, sometimes prebuilt versions of PAR::Packer don't work
with your installed version of Perl (even if they claim to do so).
Please build PAR::Packer from source (including running "[dn]make test")
and attach build+test log.

Just for clarification: pp doesn't "compile" anything - it merely
packs your script and all needed modules into something
like a self-extracting zip file.
