My Machine has 3.46 GB of RAM. I use the 32 bit versions of WIN XP and Paraview. The statistics inspector (in 3.12.0-RC2) says for a 204 MB file: 5578650 cells, 5680752 points, 244,104 MB memory, 19,184 MB geometry size. So it doesn't seem to me that memory is the issue here. I will check if I can upload one of the files, as Utkarsh suggested. Are you using a 32 or 64 bit version of windows XP and how much RAM does your machine have? What does View->Statistics inspector (or alternatively the information tab) say about the memory size, number of cells and number of arrays in this data set? If you are exceeding memory, the solution is either to: 1) try more memory thrifty filter alternatives such as Slice or Extract Subset rather than Clip (see the Best Practices section of the user guide). 2) connect the client to a parallel paraview server and load the data there.
