I'm trying to make ParaView 3.12.0 on Cygwin because I want to use it with a plugin that requires shared libraries (this one: http://web678.public1.linz.at/Drupal/?q=node/620). I get the following error:

(1) If you are just trying to build this project, ignore this warning or quiet it by setting CMAKE_LEGACY_CYGWIN_WIN32=0 in your environment or in the CMake cache. If later configuration or build errors occur then this project may have been written under the assumption that Cygwin is WIN32. In that case, set CMAKE_LEGACY_CYGWIN_WIN32=1 instead. I tried to do that to see if it fixed the error, but I'm not sure if I did it right. I added the line CMAKE_LEGACY_CYGWIN_WIN32=1 to CMakeCache.txt, then went into ccmake, [c], [g]. I looked at CMakeCache.txt again to see if the value is still there. It moved to a different area of the file and changed to CMAKE_LEGACY_CYGWIN_WIN32:UNINITIALIZED=1 I don't know if that's the right type, uninitialized. An attempt to make ParaView gives the same error as before. --------- I would really appreciate any help.
