I'm not sure of the source behind this rumor, but I'm not the one that contacted the Columbus folks about workshop space for Perl 6/Parrot. I think they have me confused with particle++ . Beyond this, given my current home situation [1] it is probably unwise to expect that I'll be able to organize a YAPC::NA workshop in any significant respect. It would also be prudent for the workshop organizers to have a backup plan in case I'm unable to attend, as happened with the Copenhagen workshop earlier this year.
