releases."
Has that study of our existing profiling tools begun?
No.
What progress have
me made?
None.
At the very least, I haven't received any reports of progress and didn't
hear anyone talking about this at the various Parrot-at-YAPC sessions in
Asheville this week.
whiteknight, cotto, et. al.: Could we persuade you to pause for a while on
your other efforts so that we can have some forward motion on this goal?
I have looked at our existing tools and am at a bit of a loss. I do
not think that I quite understand what code we currently do have, what
that code is missing, and what I need to be doing. Profiling is not an
area where I have huge expertise and I have not been able to make any
progress whatsoever. I talked with cotto about this on IRC and he
suggested he might try to spearhead the issue. I am willing to write
whatever code is necessary, it's somebody figuring out what is
necessary that is giving me a hard time.
Since the above is the last post we've had on the profiling roadmap
goal, I'd have to say that we have not met this roadmap goal.
Can we do better for 6.9? Suggestions?
Thank you very much.
