    Thanks for the reply. The system is partitioned with DOS type
disk label. Hope all the partition info is stored in MBR for DOS disk label.
Once after we do partition with Parted and when system boots up, will it
read GPT entry ?

You shouldn't have any problem as long as all your partition types are
supported by Parted, which I assume, they are. Partitioning is never
done specific to a tool :)
