I SSH tunnel through my Dreamhost account.  They include shell access
with their shared web hosting account.  If you choose to use Dreamhost
and you are going overseas, you should submit a support ticket ahead of
your trip telling them to white list your account.  They flagged my
login from South Korea a few years ago and blocked me until I got ahold
of their support reps.
