Hi all. I'm new to the list and new using winamp. I'm on a mailing list for a radio program which has links to amazon.com where I can listen to samples of what they're going to play next program. Before I got winamp and made it default player, no problem. Now that winamp is the default player, and I click on a link to play a selection from amazon.com it asks me if I want to save or open the file hurl.asf. I've tried both and winamp doesn't play the audio at all, so I figured out that I could hit escape from the dialogue box, click on the link again, and media player would play it, but when I'm done with it and close it out, it causes an error in the copy of internet explorer I'm reading my mail in from Yahoo. I have to send or don't send the error report, close it out, reopen it and go back to my inbox. Any answers? Besides making media player my default player again? I kind of like winamp otherwise.
