Hi Terry I record with goldwave all the time. You probably dont have the what you hear option as I think that is a soundblaster option only. Other sound cards have different options to do this. the best way to do this with goldwave is to open gw and then hit f11 to open the properties. One of the tabs allows you to select the recording source and set the level in an edit field. I suggest you check the wav mix option here and then start a stream and try to record it in gw, thats what i do an did have no problems. If you are using onboard sound then you will need to shut down your screen reader or you might get a bit of babble from time to time.
