Hello Mike: I tried what you suggested; I now have "software" instead of "soundboard" check. So..at least..now..it's not recording the microphone. But it's still not recording the audio stream either; it did, however, pick up the sound of my screenreader; I expected that. But I still don't know just what to do to make this thing record streamming audio! Thanks, though, to Mike..for your suggestion; maybe I'm..at least..on the right track! Tom Kaufman
