I have a C crane FM transmitter and I put a y connector into my soundcard so that the speaker system is plugged into one side while the FM transmitter is plugged into the other. It works well. The y connector should have a male stereo plug going into the speaker jack of your soundcard and two female connectors into which you plug the transmitter and the speaker system. All need to be stereo. Hope this helps. Lois Goodine.
