Hi, Gang! Well, I took some of yous guys's advice and downloaded the Goldwave shareware to make its acquaintance. Short of going over this manual about a hundred times, can somebody direct me as to how to navigate around and edit a file? I know how to record something but don't know how to stop the recording, and I don't know how to work with the file once I have it. With Soundforge and Studio recorder, I can start playing a file, stop and start it, select stuff using braces or the shift arrow keys, but that doesn't seem to work in Goldwave!

The manual seems to have some very nice tutorials but I can't seem to find the very most basic information a totally blind person can use. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if there are some blind-friendly links, manuals, etc., that would be great, too. I'm just totally bumfuzzled!
