hi, i've noticed this same thing in just about any player i've tried! i too have fiddled with every volume control i can find and it's no better. i have noticed though, if i rip the audio from a dvd, the volume of the resulting mp3 or which ever format, is much higher than it was when just playing it. kevin - co-owner/moderator of the blind gamers discussion list. email/msn: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrea Sherry" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC Audio" <Pc-audio@pc-audio.org> Sent: Saturday, January 22, 2005 12:17 AM Subject: DVD Playing
When I play a DVD movie I notice that the volume is somewhat down. Is this normal? I have had a poke round through the configuration menu and there doesn't appear to be a way to increase the volume either in Nero Showtime or PowerDVD.
