How might I re-sample - is there any software which might just cut the speed by 1/2 and similarly correct the pitch? For so long this is only what you could do, but of course now the in thing is to keep the pitch the same.

Hi Gordon. I think you can slow it down by cutting the sampling rate in half, or you can use pitch shift, if you have Soundforge or Goldwave.
