My MP3 files are playing back too fast. Slpeakers are speaking too fast and the pitch is too high, not quite "Donald duck" but getting close to it. Recently i was unable to play back MP3 files and i got a message saying bad sound file. A friend un- installed and then re-installed the Soundmax 3.0 program since when i have had this problem. The problem also affects my screenreader (Window-Eyes 5.5) but I am able to moderate the problem by adjusting Window-Eyes tone and pitch. My friend also reported my CPU running at %100 and thought there might be a virus but he was unable to locate a virus on my system. I have run my antivirus program (Vet) without finding any infecti on and I am consista nt in maintaining Vet up-to-date. My system is a Windows XP Professional on a Pentium 3. I would be most grateful for any suggestion to overcome the problem. Ivan Cribb
