Hello josh, On Wednesday, January 25, 2006, 2:30:37 PM, you bellowed the following: > how does one acomplish this.
Well, I have two computers with three sound cards each, going into my 16-channel desk for a bunch of routing options. Anyway, you accomplish this by redirecting programs to go across a non-default sound card. Most audio programs will do this, including winamp, goldwave, sound forge, windows media player, and any *real* (not to be confused with real player) audio applications. Real player has yet to do anything about this although winamp has been doing this since 1998, and even Windows Media Player allows you to change the output device now. If you're using jaws, there is a way to get HellOfQuence to go across a preferred audio device (if that's the synthesizer you're using.) Hal has this ability as well, but I'm not sure how Window-eyes handles it. -- Good Wednesday, -- Patrick Perdue (MCP, CNA) KE4DYI Greensboro, NC website: http://www.pdaudio.net home: +1(828)221-2971 Mobile phone and SMS: +1(336)509-5583 e-mail and .net messenger: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> skype: Borris -------------------- For anything related to the yamaha motif line of keyboards and modules, subscribe to the motif-help mailing list by sending a blank message to: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This list is a service of MosenExplosion.com.
