I have spent endless hours trying to figure out how Media Player can rip or burn CDs, and have had little success. Perhaps it is because I don't understand the program, but I have read the help documentation and think I do. My thought is that JAWS is preventing me from having success. Are there any tips for using JAWS for ripping/burning via Media Player? Or, would somebody be willing to share specific steps for how these tasks can be accomplished? Or, can you direct me to help documentation that would prove more helpful than what is contained with in Media Player? I checked the JFW help files, and found nothing. However, I have not been to the FS Website yet.
I have tried to rip/burn on two different computers. Both systems have the most current version of Media Player (8 I think). One system runs XP Professional on a network, and the other system runs XP Home. The latter system is accessed via JFW 7.0, and the other system is unfortunately stuck with JFW 4.5. Fortunately I have managed to figure out how to burn via iTunes, but that program is only on one of my computers. Since I can burn CDs on that system, I am especially interested in mastering the ripping problem. However, I'd like to know how to rip/burn so that I can share with my students/friends who are interested in conquering the same tasks. All help would be greatly appreciated.
