Thanks to both of you for the help. I did some reading today and I think I have an audegy value. The writer from my google search said that it was an inferior card. perhaps that's my answer. Anyway, I don't know how the drivers should be corrupted, I reinstalled them but you never know. My audegy has 4 jacks, is that an audegy value? It also could be a conflict with the mother board.
