Jim, You could use a PTR2, which is completely accessible, because it's
built for blind people. But the Plextalk costs around $800. If you don't
need a line-in, some Olympus recorders like the DS-2 or the WS-320M are
quite good as well. The Sony ICD-MX20 is another fine recorder with a
very good built-in stereo microphone. The ones from Olympus and the Sony
have a menu which can be controlled via an accessible software on the
PC.
