There are a lot of good reasons to shop at Walmart. Visit your local Walmart and you might actually be surprised just how much they carry including computer related and audio items. And as for the argument they drive independent merchants out of business, so do almost any chain store for their mass buying power (pplus extended hours of operation) provide consumers what they want. And, amazing as it might sound, they actually employ people creating jobs for the community.
