If you're referring to the one put out by The American Printing House for the Blind, I use it all the time. The only time I switch to Sound Forge for something, is when I need to use a DirectX module. But as far as I'm concerned, SR is definitely worth it to me. It works really well with speech right out of the box, and one doesn't need scripts or set files to be able to read the peek meters.
