Its amazing just how many people who sell Mac machines aren't aware of this, when I first went to look at a Mac over a year ago at my local Mac reseller, I bowled him over by following a simple instruction someone else had given me which was, "To activate the OS tiger VoiceOver screen Reader, boot up the Mac machine and press command-F5 and hold down the FN key whilst doing this if you're using a notebook", did the trick alright and I've been using my Ibook ever since.
