Well, I guess I need to subscribe to Replay, sooner, rather than later,
because I am still having the same problems, getting subscribed, to Sirius,
that I described a few days ago! I can now get the Captcha entered, get
past the sign in window, but, alas, no streams start up, once in the player,
at all! I am running JAWS 8.0 and the flash player, on the on line page
(sign up page) slows down the computer quite a bit and makes JAWS almost
impossible to maneuver in! Any more suggestions, besides subscribing to
Replay, Chris?

Thanks,

-Mac-

Subject: Re: Replay A/V and Sirius Online

Hi Jonathan. Aparently, something happens behind the scenes so that
Replay A/V can record your stream. Here's what I would try.
You know how CNN does a newscast at the top of every hour and it
lasts 2 or 3 minutes? Well, what I would do is schedule a
recording on the Sirius CNN channel at the top of the next hour
coming up and watch replay and see what it does. I know some folks
who have successfully recorded Sirius streams, and Bill Dettering,
the CEO of Applian was on Main Menu a couple weeks ago and confirmed
that the replay A/V software has a way to get past the captcha that
is presented when you log in.
So you may not actually be able to tune to the station using the
method you describe, but I'm guessing that it has some kind of
mechanism for logging in and getting past the captcha.

I don't know how it does it, but it should work fine. Give it a try
and tell us all how you get on. I'd be curious to know myself
actually. I use ReplayA/V every single day and I can't imagine not
using it now.
Hope that helps.
