Now, I'm not understanding this.  I have ripped to mp3 and ape.  They rip to 
separate tracks, why does flac need cueing?

  FLAC files are lossless compressed files, a Cue file contains all the  
  instructions necessary for the ripper to split the FLAC file into  
  tracks when writing to a CD, converting to MP3 files etc.
