I paid $200.00 for this machine. Now if anyone is thinking of purchasing a DAT then I wouldn't advise it, I have about 100 DAT tapes here but if you don't have any at all? Well chances are that this will be the "status quo" for you as DAT tapes have not been in production since 2006 and to be perfectly blunt about it, there's little point in owning one now that you can use a Mac or PC for so much in the way of audio recording.
