Well yes, it can be made to do some file conversions, you can for example convert from wave to MP3 and this feature is even further enhanced if you know the command line structure of the 32-bit console versions of say Flac or LAME, you can them set these command lines up in EAC and load them on a "profile" basis, one for Flac, one for different presets of LAME and so forth. I probably haven't explained myself properly here so please (if you need to) ask questions.
