John, I know I believe you, because definitely each speaker works ok, so left output is really causing problem, my soundcard is built-in, control panel says it's soundmax. Larry changed his soundcard, what brand would you recommend? Jouie

If you are getting no sound from that channel, then your output chip and or transistor maybe burned out. A stereo repair shop could fix it for you.
