Hi 1. Have you tried restarting the computer? 2. Have you tried playing just a regular audio cd that you know contains content? 3. Maybe get an entirely new dvd rom drive. I have a computer here that's 7 or 8 years old and is running fine- so, if the main components stil work, why change?
