Hi Barry, my understanding is that this product is what used to be known as
Sound Forge XP. This being the case, then yes the basic editing commands are
the same, although you don't get all the presets in the various dialogues.

Subject: Has anyone used Sound Forge Audio Studio

I have been asked by an association to look at computer sound recording
products. I personally use Sound Forge 9, but I notice when
looking at the Sony page that there is Sound Forge Audio Studio which is
considerably cheaper than the professional Sound Forge
product.

Has anyone used Sound Forge Audio Studio, and if so, are the keystrokes for
basic editing the same as for Sound Forge 9. Also, is
it possible to save to MP3 format at various bit rates.

I know I can download a demo, but I am a little reluctant to do this in case
it clashes with my full version.

Thanks,
Barry Chapman
