Thanks, it looks like I was just plain lucky with the Xitel Inport.  I have
researched the iMic and it sounds perfect!  Plug and play with no external
sound card to fight with.  I am still initially wary with any Mac product
but it looks like it is pc compatible.  Now here is the new prob; finding
the iMic!  I googled it and have discovered that it sells so well that it is
continually out of stock.  I called Griffin Technology and they concurred.
I went to J&R and put myself on the waiting list as well as at Amazon.  I
want it now!  Wah!

I have used the Xittle device you speak of, but it does disable Jaws no
matter what I do. I have the IMic which does allow you to hear jaws through
the headphone jack on the IMic itself. it works well! I think I paid about
$40.00 for it, which I seem to think it was cheaper than the Xittle device.
